Moles

Moles are small black/brown spots that are caused by pigment-producing skin cells. They develop during childhood and adolescence years and are usually harmless. Over a period of time, they may fade away.

Common Symptoms

  • Welling on and around the skin eruptions
  • Scarring on the skin
  • Redness on and around the exanthemas
  • Inflamed and infected nodules

Causes

  • Family history
  • Overexposure to sunlight

How to Prevent It

  • Avoid going out during peak sun times especially 12noon – 4 PM
  • Use Sunscreen while going out
